Immune watermarking is a new watermarking framework based on traditionalwatermarking framework proposed in recent years. Different from the ordinarywatermarking, the immune watermarking has immunity and self-recovery features. Theself-recover information can be encrypted and then embedded in the image. Theimmune watermarking technology can be widely used in copyright protection, imagecertification and other fields. Reversible watermarking is a hot research area in the lastten years. It can not only get the watermarks but also recover the exactly original image. It is widely used in medical, military and other accurate image areas. This thesis combines the merits of these two watermarking algorithms to propose anew watermark algorithm model. This model overcomes the drawback of the reversiblewatermarking that it does not have immunity and strong security. At the same time, thismode ensures that the immune model watermarking algorithm can be used in precisionimage areas such as medical, military. The major work of this thesis includes:1. In this thesis, a new immune watermarking algorithm model combining bothimmune algorithm and reversible information hiding is proposed. The author usesreversible information hiding based on histogram shift technology to embed theencrypted compensation code into the image. At the same time, the author uses losslesscompression algorithm to reduce the length of the encrypted compensation code so thatit can be embedded into the watermarking image. The reversible watermarkingextraction technology is used to get the exact recovery image.2. Two specific algorithm models in the normal image domain and wavelet domainare proposed. The author describes the watermarking process in two different domainsin detail. The author explains the meanings of embedded-depth control factors in thenormal image domain and wavelet image domain, respectively, and shows thedifference of the PSNR values between the immunity watermarking and traditionalwatermarking. The author explains the reason of using reversible information hidingtechnology in the immune watermarking framework.3. A large amount of experimental data is utilized to compare the immunewatermarking with the traditional watermarking. The author illustrates the method ofchoosing control factor and gives a brief security analysis. This thesis uses differentimages to test the final effect, and select the control factor by PSNR. The immune watermark threshold is also described briefly. The author also gives the results if theattackers recover the image in a brute-force method.
