Oil seal is the most widely used type for contact rotation axis of the seal. With theaccelerated pace of industrial machinery and equipment to the direction of thehigh-speed,complex structure,energy-saving,the performance of oil seal pieces,life andreliability are getting higher and higher.An urgent need to develop a number of newhigh-performance oil seal products to meet the needs of the reality.Because thetraditional oil seal testing machine control system is simple,low automatization,it isdifficult to reach the oil seal manufacturer and current national standards for oil sealtesting program requirements.Therefore, developing a high degree of stableperformance and automation testing machine monitoring system on the basis of originaltest machine has a very important practical significance.In this paper with Qingdao TKS Sealing Industry Co., Ltd,oil seal frame test benchfor research object,on the basis of extensive researching and inspection domestic andforeign related literature material,according to the problems of the traditional controlsystem of the test equipment and Qingdao TKS Sealing Industry Co., Ltd, technicalrequirements,the overall program is determined as the multi-level distributed systemthat the server machine as the upper supervisor,PLC as the bottom real-time controlcomputer.This paper introduces the system overall design in detail,focuses on thecontrol system hardware design and software design,as well as wirelesscommunications subsystem realization.The system adopts multi-level distributed systems as the design scheme.Themonitoring server is responsible for processing the experimental data and releasinginformation.Each control system of bench machine self-contained and independentwork to complete basic movement controling such as:motor speed control,temperaturemonitoring, oil level exception alerts,the motor fault alarm and so on.Workers can use embedded touch screen to set the test parameters and test procedures.The monitoringsystem can notify workers the failure information in the test process via SMS andautomatically shut down the emergence of fault station,alarm via SMS and auto poweroff the faulty aging chamber.Experiment and debugging results show that the developed remote control andmonitor system for oil seal frame test bench based on GPRS has met manufacturer’stechnical requirements in areas such as operating performance,efficiency,managementlevel,operability and other technical requirements.This system is advanced in controlsystem technology,stable and reliable,and can be widely applied.
