With the development of science and technology, digital image processing iswidely used in military affairs, remote sensing, biomedicine and other industries. Inrecent decades, digital image processing technology has become an independent scienceand technology. In conclusion, digital image processing technology is a highly unifiedsubject in the aspects of theoretical research and applied development, which is widelyused in many fields. In recent years, with the advancement of society, environmentpollution is becoming more and more serious. In pursuit of the progress of science andtechnology, people are beginning to focus on the problem of environment at the sametime, so image processing technology is applied to the field of environmentalmanagement by many researchers. The diffusion model of liquid pollutant is analyzedand studied in this background.Firstly, based on the experimental device that is ready-made, one photo is got every30seconds by the camera. The experiment is repeated once under the same condition,and then a group of clearer pictures are selected to process. The diffusion model whichaccords with the experiment is selected ultimately.Secondly, an ideal tracer matter is selected to do a lot of calibration experiments.The nexus of numerical value between gray and concentration is got ultimately, which ismuch helpful to do the next work.At last, through the platform of MATLAB, the influencing factors which exist inthe process of liquid diffusion in the field are simulated, the main figures of divergenceand curl are showed, and the results show that the divergence plays an important role inthe experiment and it has practical value in the further research. Then isoconcentratesare simulated by MATLAB on the same conditions in different times. Afterexperimental values and theoretical values are analyzed and compared, more accuratediffusion model has been corrected, and it is validated subsequently. Experimentalresults show that the method is effective to research the concentration diffusion of liquidpollutant by digital image processing technology.
