With the rapid development and wide application of the computer and network technology, moreand more information security problems threaten to security of community, business and personalprivacy. Trojan horse that is one of the most prominent virus and attack means in the variety ofinformation security issues, especially attracts a widespread attention. In recent years,the development of artificial immune technique has attracted attention of researchers in various fields.In the field of information security, artificial immune technology has become a hot researchtopic.Using artificial immune technique can detect Trojan horse and their variants very well.Therefore, this paper applies artificial immune technique to detection and prevention of Trojanhorse,and conducts in-depth study.Firstly, this paper studies the basic principle, characteristics, common detection technique ofTrojan horse, and the drawback of existing detection techniques, as well as the programmingtechnique of the Trojan horse on the Windows platform. A deep research is made on reverseengineering and the behavioral characteristics of the Trojan horse. Secondly, this paper studies theprinciple of the Biological Immune System, the theory and development of artificial immune system,common algorithms and development of artificial immune system, and feasibility of Trojan detectiontechnique based on the artificial immune technique. On the basis of studying classic real-valuednegative selection algorithm, this paper improves the variable-sized detector generation algorithmEV-Detector, proposes a new detector generation algorithm MEV-Detector and a new negativeselection algorithm MEVD-NSA, designs an immune-based Trojan detection method. Finally, thispaper designs and initially implements a Trojan defense prototype system based on artificial immunetechnique, this system can be better at detecting Trojan and its variants and has good defense ability,which uses a series of artificial immune mechanisms, and has good adaptability and learning ability.In addition, the system makes a lot of experiments using the actual Trojan horse and its variants.Experiment results show that Trojan detection method in this paper can effectively detect Trojans andtheir variants, and the Trojan defense system based on artificial immune technique can effectivelyprevent the intrusion of Trojan and its variants.The novelty of this paper is that applies the artificial immune mechanism to detection andprevention of Trojan horse, proposes a new trojan detection method, designs and implements a Trojandefense prototype system based on artificial immune technique. Experiment results show that thesystem has good adaptability and intelligence so that it can detect and prevent Trojan and its variantsvery well and ensures computer system stable and secure.
