Query processing is a key technology of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) since WSN isalways data driven. With the development of WSN, privacy in WSN has emerged to be abottleneck that is in the way of query processing. As a result, privacy protection becomes aresearch focus in the field of WSN. Existing researches have a lot of shortcomings, for examplenow-available aggregation with privacy protection can only handle the SUM operator; MAXMINoperators which are based on comparison can not be executed with privacy protection till now.To overcome these shortcoming of existing researches, this thesis makes a research to thequery processing with privacy protection in WSN; proposes a query processing algorithm whichcan support querying the extreme value with privacy protection, designs and implements a queryprocessing system with privacy protection for WSN. The main work of this thesis is as forllows:(1)This thesis proposes a privacy protection model which orients the comparison operation inWSN and poses a Private Extreme Value Aggregation query algorithm PEVA in WSN. Thisalgorithm, based on homomorphic encryption, adopts0-1code to transfer the comparisonoperation into a set intersection operation so that encrypted data can be compared withoutdecryption.(2)This thesis makes an analysis to the feature and application environment of WSN,introducing mobile agent to construct a query processing platform Archery for WSN. This systemprovide a declarative language interface with user-defined data encryption in the base station.. Areacting agent based on data stream is proposed as the concrete implementation on the motes sothat the entire system can protect privacy under this framework.(3)This thesis designs and implements the query processing system Archery for WSN,illustrates the designing and implementation of SQL parsing module and mobile agent productionmodule as well as the query virtual machine to execute agent. Finally PEVA is implemented inArchery system.
