Inertial navigation system because of its complete autonomy become the main navigation systemwidely used in aerospace, aviation and other fields, but with the principle error, and divergence overtime, we can use some geographic information navigation systems (such as magnetic navigation, scene matching navigation) to correct INS errors. However, these navigation systems are independent, the baseline information for matching are stored in the respective independent database, due to lack ofeffective and uniform management, when use them to combine with inertial navigation system, system receives real-time constraints. To solve the above problem, the paper proposes a generalizedGIS/INS integrated navigation technology solutions, and focuses on a study of the navigationmatching algorithm.Firstly, based on the the management model about comom GIS, the paper raises a new conceptof generalized GIS. In addition, the paper lets the map, geomagnetism, gravity, astronomy and otherreference information into GIS, and then uses GIS spatial storage and management advantages tomanage all kinds of information. In aircraft guidance, according to the actual needs, the processor canselect appropriate geospatial information to apply in various navigation systems. Then, two typical navigation matching technology was studied based on the generalized GIS:geomagnetism matching navigation and digital image matching navigation. The paper studies theirbasic navigation principles, and proposes their matching algorithms. Finally, the paper use Kalman filter technique to combin the generalized GIS and INS navigationsystem, form a generalized GIS/INS integrated navigation system. Then based on the control MO(map control) in the MFC platform, the paper compiles the integrated navigation system into software, visually display their navigation results.Simulation results show that the proposed combined navigation technology scheme is reasonableand feasible, and is of great practical significance.
