With the continuous improvement of infrastructure construction in colleges,The campusnetwork in Colleges and universities has been rapid development.By the Campus network scaleexpanding,The applications demand relates to network are growing.At the same time alsomakes campus network bandwidth utilization and bandwidth properties directly faces test.Toimplement the benign management of campus network bandwidth,we should reasonablyimplement some controllable strategy in bandwidth management.This article has first analyzed the campus network traffic control technology in currentdevelopment status,secondly analyzed the campus network traffic characteristics,At the sametime the article from the campus network planning and different network layers analyses thefeasibility of network traffic control. Using the token bucket algorithm as a key technology innetwork traffic control,it mainly studies the token bucket algorithm and its applications.WhileCAR (committed access rate) strategy usually uses the token bucket algorithm for ratecontrol,it is very suitable for deployment at the network edge part.The CAR flow controlmechanism which applied to the campus network traffic control in this article,and throughexperiments on different CAR configuration made argumentation,the experimental resultsprove that the CAR strategy for IP communication traffic control is more suitable for thesolution of campus network traffic control problems.The CAR strategy have the feasibility intraffic control. |
