As information technology continues to evolve, the process of enterpriseinfomationization is constantly evolving. There are various kinds of "information islands"accomplished by application systems growing, and the system integration has become animportant part in the construction of enterprise information systems. To achieve more flexible, open, mature system integration solutions becomes the tireless pursuit for all the researchers andpractitioners in this area. This paper compares and analyzes the features of different kinds of system integrationschemes. According to the real needs of system integration from a series of businessdevelopment and customer service systems in an airline corporation, a service-oriented systemintegration solution based on single sign-on is put forwarded, in which it highlights the key roleof single sign-on platform and SOA architecture, and a security issues and security mode basedon the overall system is proposed from the perspective of the authentication and authorizationmanagement. After introducing the common single sign-on models and technology, across-domain single sign-on platform based on multi-cookies is achieved, and the application ofweb services is discussed. During multi-system integration process, single sign-on is the keyapplication to the authentication and authorization management, combining with web servicesthat implement message and data interaction among different systems. It completes theintegration of enterprise business flows, and the application of security patterns is the mostimportant safeguard in the system integration. The integrated solution based-on single sign-on is applied to an airline corporation’sactual projects successfully, that effectively illustrates the feasibility of the solution.
