| Application of pipeline transportation in the city is very extensive, in comparison withother energy modes of transport, pipeline transport safer and more effective and almostnegligible impact on the environment. However damaged even leak gas pipeline problems,especially those due to a chronic caused by corrosion of pipeline leak, are often hard todetect. When large areas of gas leakage in gas pipeline will not only cause economic losses,and may even cause accidents. Found in a timely manner and to determine where the leakbecame paramount. In this thesis, the use of combustible gas sensor and microprocessortechnology as the core, the completed trolley combustible gas detector design.In this design, trolley type combustible gas detector using catalytic combustion sensorand single-chip microcomputer technology as the core, quickly and accurately determinewhere the gas leak and the concentration of the gas leak was detected and displayedthrough the LCD, when the gas concentration reaches a threshold value, the system emitssound and light alarm to detect personnel. Gas sensor using embedded installed on thissystem, through micro-pump gas leak gas sensor’s cavity inhalation. Gas sensor voltagesignal to convert the measured gas concentration, evacuation to enlarge A/D converters,changed into digital sending microprocessors for data analysis. When the gas concentrationin the air when the threshold is reached, the microprocessor digital signal output-drivensound and light alarm. System software was written using MCS-51module, including dataacquisition, A/D conversion, and design of data storage, liquid crystal displays, sound andlight alarm, battery monitor, keyboard design.Trolley type combustible gas detector is a relatively sound gas detection system, theinstrument can be widely used in sectors such as gas, petroleum, petrochemical gastransmission and distribution pipeline leakage emergency maintenance and pipeline safetyinspections and so, protect the people’s life and property safety. |
