Electrical tomography(ET)technology is a detection technique which has developed rapidly in recent years. Compared with other CT techniques, it has advantages of non-invasive, portable, non-radiation and low cost. So it has been widely used in industrial and medical fields, such as fluid detection in industrial process and monitoring of human tissue lesions. The Electrical Resistance Tomography (ERT), Electrical Capacitance Tomography (ECT) and Electrical Magnetic Tomography (EMT) are three common ET techniques.After 20 years of development, Electrical tomography technology has made considerable progress. However, the image reconstruction of Electrical Tomography needs to solve inverse problem which is non-linear and ill-conditioned. This may make the image reconstruction diverge or even if converge, the resolution is very low. In this paper, several commonly used image reconstruction algorithms are introduced. Also, based on the GMRES algorithm, this paper proposes a re-started GMRES algorithm to speed up convergence and improve imaging quality. Simulations and experiments show that it is effective to be applied in industrial two-phase measurement.In addition, in order to overcome the disadvantages that software system has to revise and recompile according to different devices and it is a heavy work to update software system, this paper write some common performance functions into DLL file and then be invoked by executable file. Finally, give USB communication module as an example to implement this strategy. Experiment indicates that it effectively improve the portability and convenience to update software system. The main work and the results are as follows:(1).analyze the inverse problem of ET and introduce several commonly used image reconstruction algorithms. And then propose a restart GMRES algorithm to accelerate convergence and improve image space resolution.(2).Based on the platform of Visual C++, write Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files for some modules of software system. Meanwhile, add these DLL files to the system by the example of USB communication, which proves its effectiveness. This new system increases the Portability of the software system and update software system more convenient.
