As the wireless sensor network technology development and it proposed perception of mine, nowthe Internet of this technology applied to mine has become a pressing matter.This subject comes from the Jiahe coal mine of Xu zhou mine group with perception of mineproject.The node has the advantages of small volume, convenient installation, capable of capturingvarious data, sense the environment, position the target.It make WSN be used in the perception ofmine system. But in general, the mine environment is complex and below ground level, nodes areinstalled below the roadway. In this environment, the node is unable to utilize solar energy.therefore,higher real-time is asked for positioning, reliability and latency also made a high demand.As theenvironmental was complex and the data collected is very large, WSN also need highthroughput. The traditional wireless sensor MAC layer protocol can not meet the requirementsof perception of mine system.In order to solve these problems, this paper proposes a PR-MAC protocol, mainly design fouralgorithms: backoff algorithm, power control algorithms, multi-rate adaptive algorithm and nodeselection algorithm. To avoid collision, using the algorithm of basing on the residual energy of nodesand the distance from the base station hop and random backoff not only consider the nodes of its ownresidual energy consider the base station hops and other factors. This method saves the node’s ownenergy, simultaneously gives full consideration to the average energy consumption of wireless sensornetworks. The power control algorithm using binary incremental power algorithm overcome the faultof some of the previous power control algorithm can not dynamically increase energy in the datatransmission; multi-rate adaptation and power control algorithm is combined, not isolated, it reducesenergy consumption significantly improves the network throughput, thereby increasing networkefficiency. It overcome the previous power control or rate control simpling to improve the efficiencysingly. Power control and multi-rate adaptive technology proposed by this paper dramatically reduceenergy consumption while improving network throughput. choicing nodes to send data also give fullconsideration to the node residual energy and hops from the base station and other factors, iteffectively balance the energy in wireless sensor networks and it also greatly reducing the time delay.Comparative analysis of simulation results show that this design of PR-MAC protocol is betterthan the traditional S-MAC protocol in saving energy, and it has a substantial throughput. In practicalapplications, It has reached the design requirements in the test.
