3D Document Management And Protection System’s Research And Design Based On Filter Driver

With the advent of the information age, situation of personal information security is worsening. Traditional file encryption algorithms become fragile as hardware improve performance. File packers, although effective, has a lack of satisfactoryscope of application and efficiency, and there have been cracked procedure as time goes by. File filter in the inner nuclear layer is an effective means of file protection. Minifilter framework provided by Microsoft, comparing with traditional Legacy, has less difficulty in developing. It can produce higher qualitative and more flexible file system filter driver. On the other hand, after30years’ development, Desktop system is developing in the direction of three-dimensional. In application, there is a small number of three-dimensional desktop software, such as3DNADesktop and Bumptop etc.. Compared to traditional desktop,3D desktop softwaremanage files in a way which is more close to reality, and provide a better user experience.This paper attempts to combine these two aspects, we propose a new file protection and file management program. Based on this scenario, this article uses filterdriver Minifilter model and the OGRE graphics engine, to realize a three-dimensional desktop. The system consists of two modules, namely the drive module and desktop module. The driver module provides the underlying security support, is responsible to filter the query operations. Combining with desktop module, we realizea user authentication mechanism, in which unauthorized users can not access theprotected file. Desktop module creates a roaming scene, responsible for displaying t he scene to and managing the files. Users put a specific file into the system and the system generates a scene object to represent the file. The desktop module notifies the driver module to update the personal list of file. The user can hide objects in the scene, add graphical password and view the log, which improve the security of the system. The tests show that the function, stability and performance of the system has basically reached the target. And, the prototype system can also be expanded into a network file protection and sharing platform.
