Laser cladding is a kind of processing technology which makes use of high energylaser beam to form good metallurgical combination between coating material and substratematerial. The Ni60 alloy has excellent oxidative stability, abrasive resistance and stainlessproperty and therefore it is widely applied. So studying process optimization on lasercladding Ni60 alloy is of great significance for laser processing.In this dissertation, the response surface method, genetic algorithm and BP neuralnetwork are researched, genetic algorithm and BP neural network are improved and thenthe optimization algorithm of the process of laser cladding is chosen.In this research, we do many experiments on laser single pass cladding process withpowder preplaced and cladding height, cladding width and cladding angle are measured.Based on these, the effects of laser cladding process parameters on the geometric featuresof the cladding layer and heat affected zone of the substrate are analyzed.Laser cladding process is optimized with the response surface-genetic simulatedannealing algorithm and neural network-simulated annealing algorithm, get two groups ofthe optimal parameters combination. These kinds of optimization algorithm are compared,the response surface-genetic simulated annealing algorithm as optimization algorithm ofthe laser cladding process optimization is chosen, and the optimal single pass processparameters combination are obtained.The expert database system is created making use of Visual Basic and ACCESS2003.In this system, the response surface-genetic simulated annealing algorithm is used. Thefunction of the expert database parameter optimization and updating of the expert databasereal-timely are achieved. The expert database system is used to guide laser claddingprocess experiment, the quality of products and the production efficiency are improved.
