With the development of technology, eye movement operating system becomehot topics in the related field as one of the most important application. It has beenapplied in medicine, psychology, advertising, especially in the military, aerospace andother aspects of significance. At present, the study of eye movement operating systemis still in the early stages, so that, research on the basic key technologies and controlinformation indicators has important practical significance and theoretical value.The paper generally described the development status of eye movementoperating system technology, summarized the current problems and direction of eyemovement operating system, analyzed the whole concept of eye movement operatingsystem, the structure and basic parameters of human eye, and other basic indicators.And then, research on the structure and performance requirements of eye movementoperating system according to the collected data and application areas of the basicform of eye movement. In the system, the three basic form of eye movement are theinput message in the part of input information, which are Fixation, Saccade, SmoothPursuit. The Fixation is the only way to capture the outside message, so that, the papermade a detailed analysis of it.Eye tracking technology is the key technology in the information input part, andit is also the core technology of eye movement operating system. So the paper madethe depth exploration to the eye tracking technology, and based on the previousstudies have been reclassified. And then, the paper compared the two methods of 2Dand 3D of eye tracking, analysed their two different applications.According to the structure of eye movement operating system, the paper study onthe two key control information of part of control input. Analysed the blink controlinformation and made the experiment verification, the done work included: built theexperimental platform, instructed the analytical instrument hardware and software,study the blink detection methods commonly, and design the experiment of testingeye fatigue. According to the experimental results, obtained the longest fixation timewith minimal impact on the accuracy of fixation. The paper made a detailed study ofanother key control information of the control input part of eye movement operatingsystem, fixation time. Thought the analysis, it is found that the eye would jitter involuntarily and free ruled in the process of fixation. However, the scope of this jitterhad certain rules and its size could not be ignored. Therefore, the paper made anexperimentl design and results analysis to fixation jitter. The experiment resultsshowed that the fixation jitter is within the range of 1°, and it must be noted in theeye movement operating system design. Finally it is confirmed by experiment, eyefatigue does not affect the accuracy of the gaze position.
