Teaching quality is the whole understanding of teaching and learning on behalfof different people. It affects the play of the teaching function, and decides the waysand methods to people’s achievements on the pursuit of teaching quality. Collegestudents are the main participants and undertakers of university teaching activities.Students’ view of teaching quality and their understanding for the impact factors ofteaching quality have a direct impact on university teaching quality.This research is about a survey whose subject is students from four universitiesin Hainan province. The goal of this research is to know the students’ view ofteaching quality and their understandings of its impact factors. This research sums upthe following conclusions:1. As for the teaching quality elements, college students in Hainan province holdthe view that the quality of teachers is the main element of universities’ teachingquality. College students hold a general satisfaction about five areas including thetheory on universities management, the source of universities, the quality of teachers,the universities management and students’ study attitudes.2. There are obvious differences between students from different grades,different subjects and different universities about impact factors of universities quality.And there are minor differences between students who have different workingprospections after graduation.3. College students in Hainan province think that changing the view of teachingquality is the key to improve university teaching quality.4. College students in Hainan province agree more on inner-adaptive teachingquality view. College students commonly ask for strong academic learning in theiruniversity cultivation.5. There are obvious differences of understanding about Premised-teachingquality view and outer-adaptive teaching quality between students from differentgrades, different categories and different universities.
