Since the basic education curriculum reform in2001, people gradually attended theteaching material view. Especially after the publication of the2011curriculum standard, scholarsand experts strongly advocated that Chinese teachers in primary school should turn "teachingtextbooks" to "teaching with textbooks". However, what is the current situation about theteaching material view of Chinese teachers in primary school? How much distance between thecurrent teaching material view and the "teaching with textbooks"? What are the constraints? Howto help teachers turn to "teaching with textbooks" smoothly? These problems lead to theformation of this paper. Through researching the particular sample, this paper attempts to graspthe situation of these problems in detail, for the improvement of the teaching material and theimprovement of Chinese teaching in primary school.This paper is mainly divided into the following six parts:First, the introduction part. The introduction is mainly divided into four aspects—problemorigin, literature review, research ideas and methods and research significance. Among them, theproblem origin mainly includes the need of the deeply development of curriculum reform, theneed of improving Chinese teaching quality, the need of the professional development ofteachers, and the personal interest. The literature review mainly contains the foreign research ofthe teaching material view, the present situation of domestic teaching material view, and theshortcomings of the existing study.Second, the definition of the teaching material view of Chinese teachers in primary school.According to the logical sequence of the four concepts, such as "textbook","idea"," the teachingmaterial view " and " the teaching material view of Chinese teachers in primary school", thedefinition is more clear and specific.Third, the design of the research. The design mainly includes the design of the questionnaireand the design of the interview. Among them, the design of the questionnaire includes thepurpose of the questionnaire, the analysis framework of the questionnaire, the index system ofthe questionnaire and the sample of the questionnaire. The design of the interview includes thepurpose of the interview, the analysis framework of the interview, the index system of theinterview and the sample of the interview.Fourth, the investigation of the present situation of the teaching material view of Chineseteachers in primary school. The present situation is presented from the statistics and analysis ofthe five dimensions of the questionnaire data, such as the teaching material essence view, theteaching material target view, the teaching material content view, the teaching material structure view and the teaching material using view.Fifth, the existing problems and the genetic analysis of the teaching material view ofChinese teachers in primary school. Through the analysis and statistics on the questionnaire, thepresent situation of the teaching material view of Chinese teachers in primary schoolpreliminarily shows: the teaching material essence view, the teaching material target view, theteaching material content view and the teaching material structure view are conform to therequirements of the development of the time and adapt to the new curriculum standards.However, the teaching material using view is obviously conservative, closed and passive, whichis not consistent with the new curriculum standard "teaching with textbooks". So that, this papermainly studies the existing problems of the teaching material view, and survey deeply on theseproblems through the interview study. The study shows that the existing problems mainly includethe understanding deviation of the value and the way of reading textbooks; the choosingimbalance of teaching content; the consciousness of the textbook reorganization. The mainfactors leading to the existing problems include the complicated intense teaching life, inefficientteaching reading activities, helpless exam-oriented education system and fuzzy "teaching withtextbooks".Sixth, some suggestions to help Chinese teachers in primary school to improve theirteaching material view. Aiming at the existing problems and the genetic analysis of the teachingmaterial view of Chinese teachers in primary school, the study offers some suggestions to helpteachers turn to the "teaching with textbooks" smoothly. These suggestions include: teachersshould establish a clear teaching material view about the "teaching with textbooks"; the schoolshould provide a free and tolerant environment for teachers to use textbook creatively; inside andoutside the school, teaching reading activities should be interaction, cooperation and sharing; andtransforming the single way of education evaluation into a multiple way.
