The Comparative Study Of Domestic Vocational And Technical Education Postgraduate Training Mode

AbstractIn1983, the degree office of the state council officially lists the "vocational andtechnical education" on the admission catalogue. For decades, the major of vocational andtechnical education has formed a relatively independent discipline system, from none to having,weak to strong; the cultivation of the postgraduate is beginning to take shape. But comparedwith the demand of social development, there is still a gap, it can’t satisfy the social demand forhigh-quality research talents. The postgraduate training mode restricts the quality ofpostgraduate cultivation, so the study of the vocational and technical education postgraduatetraining mode is crucial to improving the quality of postgraduate cultivation.This paper uses literature research, content analysis and comparative study; mainlydiscusses the following contents:First: tracing the development of vocational and technical education, summarizing itspostgraduate cultivation in three stages: the incubation and creating (1978-1987), the growth anddevelopment (1988-1999), enrichment and perfection (2000-present).Second: refer to the education postgraduate training scheme of Tianjin University oftechnology and education, Guangdong University of technology and education and TianjinUniversity, analyzing the cultivation condition of vocational and technical postgraduate in thethree universities.Third: compare the vocational and technical education postgraduate cultivation of the threeuniversities and elaborate their common characteristics and the differences from four aspects oftraining objectives, curriculum, training process and training evaluation.Fourth: on the base of the above three views, put forward the strategy to perfect thevocational and technical education postgraduate training mode.
