Today which changes with each new day,socialism with Chinese characteristics into thecomprehensive construction affluent society development in the new period, under the condition ofsocialist market economy, especially after China’s entry into the WTO, the society for talents notonly put forward strict requirements, and to talented person’s social responsibility consciousnessshows higher requirements. Contemporary college students is the comprehensive constructionaffluent society’s strong points,is the construction socialism harmonious society’s important force,the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the historical process of college students’ sense ofsocial responsibility and historical mission strong or not is closely linked, and with the growth ofthe college students themselves directly related. In the real society, college students’ moral loss, thelack of social responsibility, it has become a common phenomenon, so, strengthen the socialresponsibility of college students education has become the urgent matter of the real problem.This article theoretically discusses the meaning of responsibility and sense of socialresponsibility.Analyzes the present situation of the contemporary college students’ sense of socialresponsibility,desalination performance in social responsibility consciousness,collectiveresponsibility consciousness weak,family weakened responsibility consciousness.Then from thesociety, university, family and college students’ own aspects, the study of contemporary collegestudents, the lack of social responsibility.On this basis, to integrate theory with practice, thinking tostrengthen the social responsibility of college students countermeasures.
