| The mathematics scores of senior middle school students are affected by many factors, such as: talent, effort level, family status, parents’ level of education, etc. We summarize theirdifferences and divide these factors into two categories: internal factors and external factors.Because in most school enviorenment, the external factors are almost the same, so in thisarticl, we focus on study the internal factors that affect the mathematics sore of senior middleschool students. In order to study the internal factors that affect the scores of senior middle schoolstudents, we investigate the students in a senior middle school of Yantai which uniformlydistribute in each grade. Firstly, we design the questionnaire and gather the survey data.Secondly, we analyze the factors by staticstical methods including basic statistics, correlationanalysis, linear regression analysis and principal component analysis, etc. We give theregularity of the internal factors that affect senior high school students in math, correlation, linear relationship, and the principal components of the factors so as to understand the howthe internal factors affecting the mathematics scores of senior middle school students. Finally,we give the conclusions and countermeasures for the students’ future study and the teachers’teaching methods. The article is organized as follows. In chapter2, we give the basic statistical analysis onthe math scores and the influence factors. In chapter3, we show their correlations. In chapter4, we explore the regressive relationship between the factors and math scores. In chapter5,we detect the main factors by principal component analysis. In chapter6, we summarize thestatistical results and make suggestions for teachers and students. |
