On Integrity System Construction Of Contemporary College Students In China

Integrity is a virtue advocated by each nation. Integrity is a basic norm in communication. A developed and civilized society must have integrity as the cornerstone of society. In the past three decades the social environment has undergone enormous changes with the rapid economic growth. China has become a major economic power. However, material civilization does not match the rapid development of spiritual civilization that did not meet our ideal state. Integrity construction has become a project which needs to be completed by whole society. Contemporary college students are the future of our country as well as the backbone of society in the future. Enhancing students’integrity standards is a task that must be fulfilled in the shifting process from the human resources major country to a big power. There are many researches on perfecting college students’integrity education from the perspective of system building, some of which has developed from research level into practice level.Based on others’research results and practical experience, this paper attempts to explore integrity system of contemporary college students from dynamic and systemic perspective. The thesis consists of three parts.Part I makes an introduction to integrity system of contemporary college students. This part mainly defines the basic concept of integrity, system, integrity system, and the system construction of integrity system of contemporary college students, which lay a solid foundation for further study.Part II makes an introduction to the status quo of college students’ integrity system construction in China, understands the achievements, and analyzes the problems and reasons behind. The thesis puts forward the problems in which more emphasis is put on ideological education and less on system construction; construction contents legs behind contemporary college students’life; system design is not perfect; construction and implementation are disconnected, and effect of system implementation is poor.Part III discusses the strategies of the college students’ integrity system construction which can be listed as:creating a good social environment, strengthening the construction of integrity education system, clearing the principles and requirements of their integrity system construction, improving the level of integrity system design, establishing and improving their integrity system operating mechanism.
