At present, the60-year-old and the elders have reached the proportion of10%in the total population or the65-year-old and the elders have reached the proportion of7%of the country or region is considered to be "aged society".China’s sixth census data shows that in the2010,the population of the60-year-old and the elders was177.648.705, exceeds13.26%of the whole population and the population of the65-year-old and the elders was118.831.709, exceeds8.87%of all. It is predicted that by the year of2050, China’s aging population will reach one-third of the total population in the world.At present, China’s rural old-age problem is much more obvious each day, in the premise of fully aware of the China’s rural public sentiment, the discovery of the rural elderly living conditions, and the proposition of the concrete solutions are the top priority tasks in the way of promoting the social harmony in rural development work.This report has taken the literature, questionnaire and semi-structured interviews to conduct a survey on the elderly living conditions in rural areas in the area.On the basis of revealing a detailed description of the life profile of the old-aging in the area, according to the principle of comprehensiveness and the reasonable-phase-binding, the combination of universality and particularity, the combination of scientific nature and practicality, the use of combination of the scientific method of quantitative and qualitative, there carried out analyze and organize within the variety of data, on the basis of the nearly100copies of the questionnaire distributed to the area, there will be concerned that in the older rural person living condition in the area, and carried out the related qualitative research, turned the data into the specific text analysis content, drawn the description of the rural elderly living condition in the area.In the meanwhile, on the basis of the questionnaires and the interviews, the author focus on the problems found in the survey from rural areas, from the three angles of the elderly material life protection, spiritual and cultural life and multiple rural old-age way. The author tried to make a detailed analysis of its causes with the methods of sociology, anthropology, psychology, statistics and social work theory and practice, and the specific case interviews, then operated the effectiveness meaningful solutions based on the analysis of each propose. Finally, the author promote the appropriate measures to the improvement of the elderly living conditions in rural areas from the aspects of government departments, social organizations, public culture opinion and the view of social work profession.
