Population Spatial Distribution And Rationality Research In Shandong Province

In2010Shandong province which has a total population of95793000peoplefrom the sixth census is the second most populous province. The people in the southare more than that in the north while the people in the west are more than that in theeast.This is the result of long-term effect with natural, social and economic factors.At present Shandong province population space distribution is relatively balanced.Which are factors affecting Shandong province population space distribution? And inthese factors which is the most important one. Study the Shandong provincepopulation space distribution and its influencing factors are used for studyingShandong province population distribution pattern and the population movements.Thereby we can establish a reasonable regional population policy. And it is greatsignificance to realize the reasonable distribution of population in Shandong provinceand the sustainable development of population, resources, and environment.In this paper, on the basis of the document analysis, according to geography,demographics and systematic theory and other related theories, using the methods ofmodel and technology of Geographical Information System theory discussion andcase analysis is given upon the problem. Taking Shandong Province as an example, onthe basis of wholly grasping the population condition, the paper quantitativelyanalyzes the condition of space structure of population of Shandong province fromtwo aspects of time sequence and spatial divergence, And from main factorsinfluencing the space structure of population of Shandong province，the paperdiscusses the rationality of it. This paper is divided into six parts:The first chapter mainly includes the research background and significance,literature review, research content and method.The second chapter is the theoretical basis, including the concept of spatialdistribution of population, the related indicators and methods and basic theory ofpopulation.The third chapter focuses on the analysis of the characteristics of the evolution of spatial population distribution of Shandong since1993are summarized in the presentsituation, characteristics and evolution characteristics of population spatialdistribution in Shandong province. The results show that:(1) In2010the populationquantity and its density of counties is quite different, and the population distributionhas a stronger spatial autocorrelation.（2）Since the1990s, the total population andpopulation density have grew obviously. The province’s population spatial distributionis balanced，but it presents a constant concentration trend，and the populationcentralization is to weaken first and then to strengthen.The fourth chapter analyzes the influence of the factors affecting the populationdistribution of Shandong province. Natural conditions laid the basic pattern ofregional population distribution in Shandong province; Economic factor is theimbalance of the spatial distribution of population spatial distribution in Shandongprovince to form the fundamental motivation; Urbanization is the core content ofpopulation agglomeration in Shandong province.The fifth chapter is the rationality analysis of spatial distribution of population inShandong Province. The rationality of the population distribution of the17cities inShandong province is analyzed by using mathematical method. Then pointed out themain problems existing in Shandong province population spatial distribution. Studieshave found that overall balanced development of large parts of the population ofShandong province, with moderate development of potential, local developmentpotential is large, individual small regional development potential. Population spatialdistribution pattern of general south north more little, east west less, more urbanpopulation more than the rural population, population distribution is reasonable, thelocal heavily populated, population pressure is bigger.The sixth chapter we put forward suggestions and measures for rationaldistribution of population in Shandong province according to the existing problems ofpopulation spatial distribution. First, Shandong population policy, control populationgrowth, set up the ecological concept of the population distribution; Second, to speedup the economic development, population distribution in Shandong province andregional economic development can be coordinated, the sustainable; Third, to speed up the urbanization process, to coordinate population reasonable distribution again;Fourth, abolish the interregional migration barriers between, promote the rational flowof population.
