It is being a highpoint of the Curriculum Reform that implement the Option teachingof Physical Education in high school, the Affiliated Middle school of Beijing PetroleumInstitute had implemented the Option Educating of Physical education from2006until now.But so far, without comprehensive, in-depth investigation and analysis of theimplementation of the module teaching, it is neither conducive to sum up the experience ina timely manner, nor conducive to identify and solve the problems.This paper, by using interview method, investigation method, observation method todo some investigation and study of the basic situation, teaching organization, teachingmethods, teaching content, teaching evaluation and teaching materials about the AffiliatedMiddle School of Beijing Petroleum Institute’s Option educating of Physical Education inhigh school, aims at pushing physical education and health curriculum modulesdevelopment and promoting the improvement of sports teaching quality of petroleumaffiliated high school. The results showed that:(1)Petroleum Institute consider the venues and equipment nearly meet the need ofthe module teaching; Teaching content mainly in basketball, soccer, volleyball, gymnastics,aerobics, martial arts and badminton; Teaching organization form is to break gradeboundaries, single-sex class and group teaching;63.6%of teachers is to use the cloudy day,rainy day to have physical education and health curriculum instead; On the teachingmethods,45.5%of the physical education teachers use the traditional teachingmethod,18.2%of the physical education teachers use new teaching methods teachingevaluation type is combining of summative and procedural, the main evaluation participateis teacher evaluation, it is the present basic status about the implementation of High SchoolSports Module Teaching.(2)Some project is lacking of equipment; the proportion of male and female teachersrelative imbalance and special expertise structure is not reasonable; Most of the coursecontent is still mainly competitive system. The project of emerging is inadequate; Healtheducation module content has not been given sufficient attention; Part of teachers use thetraditional teaching method; There is a certain gap with the requirements of the physicaleducation curriculum development goals that teaching evaluation is not comprehensiveenough; It is the main problem of High School Sports Module Teaching.(3)Rational utilization and allocation of school existing venues and equipment;Teaching organization and teaching methods consider the needs of students and the new curriculum requirements as the starting point, Attach importance to the dominant positionof students, considering the actual situation, improve the appraisal system of physicaleducation and health curriculum modules, Improve and enhance the professional skills andthe ability of scientific research, recommend the type of "multi-skill" sports teachers;According to the actual situation of the school, teachers to write their own school textbooks, it is the main countermeasures to improve the problem about High School SportsModule Teaching.
