Objective:Based on a comprehensive survey of medical students at the university of Jilinprovince, understand the medical students’ mental quality level, discusses the mainfactors influencing the medical students’ mental quality, and puts forward effectiveSuggestions, in order to provide reference for medical college managers when makingdecisions.Methods:According to the needs of research, the questionnaires in the form of acomprehensive university medical student in Jilin province were investigated. Generaldata questionnaire including gender, age and grade, five kinds of common Mentalscale including interpersonal comprehensive diagnostic scale, social ability scale,tolerance evaluation, adolescents mental adaptation scale, social adaptabilitydiagnosis scale.Application of Microsoft office Excel2007and SPSS18.0software package fordata processing and statistical analysis, using T test, single factor analysis of variance,Kruskal Wallis and the Mann-Whitney U test, Spearman rank correlation analysisand other statistical analysis methods.Result:Medical students’ interpersonal distress detection rate was41.63%, and9.11%ofthe students are more serious or serious relationship. Compared with female students,male college students have more relationships. Troubled interpersonal relationship isnot significant difference on different grade.Lack of affordability of medical students’ detection rate was only2.46%. The vast majority of medical students under pressure are more than ability in general.Gender and grade effects on endurance are without statistical significance.Poor mental adaptability of medical students’ detection rate was14.04%, nostatistically significant differences between the gender medical students. Differentgrade students’ mental adaptability score was statistically different.Medical students’ social adaptation ability detection rate was55.42%. Differentgender on medical students’ social adaptation ability difference is not significant,grade are the main factors influencing the social adaptation ability, senior students’social adaptation ability than other junior student.Medical students’ mental quality structure of the relationship was negativelyrelatedConclusion:1. Interpersonal relationship is the medical common mental problems of students;male students are more prone to interpersonal relations.2. Tolerances in the general level in most of the students, medical students ofdifferent gender different tolerances. Male medical students’ endurance strengththan women.3. Poor mental adaptability is widely existing problems among medical students,and grade is the main influence factors of mental adaptability, senior medicalstudents’ mental adaptability than younger children.4. Medical students’ social adaptation ability is generally weak, grade are the mainfactors influencing the students’ social adaptation ability.5. Each item in the college students’ mental quality structure strength can helppredict the mental quality of other aspects of the ability to size.6. The weak link of medical students’ mental quality is mainly seen in mentaladaptability and social adaptation ability to the two aspects.
