Comparative Study Of Landscape Design In Olympics

The design idea of each Olympic Games are unique and distinct,fully showingthe world the history and culture of that country,reflect the political capacity-buildingof that country.Even highlight the economic strength of the host country.It’s a goodopportunity to promote the comprehensive construction of the host city,and it’s aneffective way to express sports culture of the Olympic landscape design.In this thesis,it will make a specific analysis and comparative in the landscapedesign between the2008Beijing Olympic Games and the London2012OlympicGames. We will use literature, comparative analysis and logical analysis,to excavationthe differences and similarities in landscape design between the Beijing OlympicGames and the Olympic Games in London.According to the different functionalityproject of the landscape design and do some comparative study,to explore their ownlandscape design features.In addition, as a typical representative of the City of Eastand West,respectively in accordance with their respective cities and comparing fordesign basis background,such as geographical, policy, culture, facilities,to explore thedifferent reasons for each landscape design.After a comparative analysis, the depth ofexcavation, by logical analysis,exploring the development and impact of the LondonOlympic Games and the Beijing Olympic Games, landscape design.In four majorareas of urban construction, socio-economic,cultural traditions,science and technologyresearch and thinking.Reference observations for the landscape design of futurehigh-end sporting events.After the exploring and study,I have found that the Olympic Games in London isnot comparable to The Beijing Olympic Games.The Beijing Olympic Games not onlylet the world know more about traditional Chinese culture,but also show a new imageof China and the Eastern to the world.And the world and the nation of Chinese sportsculture will be the mainstream of future cultural development tendency.Meanwhile,advocated the Olympic Games’ theme of "GREEN" in the landscapedesign,will become the mainstream of the future development of society,and willimpact on the society,and even change human lifestyle.
