Comprehensiveness is one of the characteristics of primary school Chinese curriculum. We should clear the connotation of comprehensiveness of primary school Chinese curriculum to improve the level of proper understanding and practicing primary school Chinese curriculum. The text understood and explained the connotation of comprehensiveness of primary school Chinese curriculum from both theoretical study level and practical application level, cleared the connotation of comprehensiveness of primary school Chinese curriculum, and explored the teaching strategies in the connotation of comprehensive of primary school Chinese curriculum.The whole text were divided into four chapters:the first chapter systematically described in the text background, meaning, purpose and methods of the study of the connotation of comprehensiveness of primary school Chinese curriculum, related literature review and the text’s internal framework, carried out a clear direction for the next research; chapter Ⅱ found related theoretical basis, establish the theoretical foundation of this study; chapter Ⅲcombined with guidance document of primary school Chinese curriculum inside and outside China as well as relevant understanding of primary school Chinese teachers to establish a framework of the construction from them, defined the connotation of comprehensiveness of primary school Chinese curriculum:1. From the viewpoint of the text, comprehensiveness of primary school Chinese curriculum is the comprehensiveness of linguistic elements;2. From the viewpoint of using language, comprehensiveness of primary school Chinese curriculum is the comprehensiveness of language practices;3. From the viewpoint of the reader, comprehensiveness of primary school Chinese curriculum is the comprehensiveness of activities of language understanding;4. From the viewpoint of the learner, comprehensiveness of primary school Chinese curriculum is the comprehensiveness of learning styles. And then, it cleared the value of understanding the connotation of comprehensive of primary school Chinese curriculum; chapter Ⅳ aimed at relevant understanding and practical situation of primary school Chinese teachers in chapter Ⅲ, combined with a teaching case to put forward the teaching strategies in the connotation of comprehensive of primary school Chinese curriculum:1.Featuring Chinese flavor in teaching primary school Chinese curriculum, to improve pupils’Chinese accomplishment in all directions;2.Taking pupils as the main body, to guide pupils’autonomous learning, cooperative learning and inquiry learning;3.Developing curriculum resources, to provide pupils with comprehensive understanding and using language.4. Enhancing practicality, to cultivate pupils’ Chinese abilities to adapt to the real life.
