Language is an important information carrier in the various fields of human life,as the economic and technological development and advancement,English hasbecome a widely used language in the world. People come to realize that English is aneffective tool to help social development and progress, so more and more attention ispaid to the foundation in English education.During the period of elementary education, English teaching does not focus ongrammar and vocabulary, but from the point of the pupils’ experience and interest,focus on strengthening the cultivation of students’ language proficiency. The goal ofEnglish teaching in primary schools is to stimulate students’ interest and develop goodlanguage learning habits. Interest is the premise of learning the language, so tostimulate students’ interest in learning English is particularly important. The Gameduring English teaching fits the psychological and physiological characteristics of thepupils, which can promote the development of the students’ imagination, memory,thinking ability.In this study, we have a conversation with teachers in T school who mainlyteach the students in the low grades and conduct a questionnaire survey to pupils, thenfinally comprehensive classroom observation to know that game in the primaryEnglish teaching can effectively improve the learning motivation; be conducive toestablish a good relationships between teachers and students; culture pupilscooperation between students; improve learning efficiency to enhance the teachingeffectiveness; develop students’ intelligence; improve the psychological quality.Meanwhile this study also shows the problem in the teaching of English games:(1)game form a single, the main form is role-playing game;(2) limited time during onelessson, the implementation of the game is not complete;3. Disorder in the classcauses the game difficult to be carried out smoothly;(4) limited participation does notguarantee the participation of all the members.This study shows the corresponding solutions according to these problems.1. Aninnovative classroom teaching, rich form of the game;2. The rational design ofteaching, effective use of time;3.Game management,regulate student behavior;4.stimulate learning motivation to encourage full participation.
