In short, due to such orienteering getting into thecampus and dedicating to comprehensively improve the overall quality of students; it hasbecome an inevitable trend of development which is both in physical education and in careerdevelopment with the times. It is the practice of contemporary colleges and universities`"people-oriented" educational thinking style.This essay is made through the method of documents and the method of questionnaire，then the statistics are analysed through the method of mathematical statistics. Theconclusions are as follows:1.The Orienteering has been known and accepted by a lot of students and teachers, sothere is soil for the orienteering survival in the high school of Changchun city.Through ourinvestigation, it is found that the majority of high-school students have a generalunderstanding of orienteering, and some of them have even participated in orienteering. Invario addition, schools can still introduced it to the students through newspapers, radio andother us forms of media, so that the students will have a better understanding of the methodsand rules of this sport for developing the students’ interest. Through Visits to the students andteachers, we know that the orienteering has attracted wide interest among high schoolstudents.2. It is easy to obtain the necessary equipment and venue for carrying out theorienteering in Changchun city. A compass and a map can be enough for the carrying out ofthe orienteering. You can also choose the natural sites, park, campus or even the blocks to bethe venue. For example, Changchun moon lake, the South Lake Park the NortheastNormal University and so on. In the aspect of the clothing, sportswear and the professionalsuite of orienteering are both all right.3. The carrying out of orienteering can enrich students’ academic life, let students getcloser to nature and love nature better. Orienteering is an emerging sport. On the one hand, itcan effectively exercise and improve the quality of the students will and develop students’teamwork spirit; On the other hand, it is able to cultivate the students`awareness of loving nature and protecting the environmen. Orienteering is away from the traditional sports venues,so the students can return to nature. In the wild, they can take a breath of fresh air, feelrelaxation of the mind and enjoy the beautiful nature.4. Orienteering can train the students to adapt to the future society physically andpsychologically. Orienteering is a kind of physical sports which combines Physicaltraining,phsychological training and social adaptation into one for all-aspectdevelopment.Physically,it can improve students’ running ability, heart beating ability andlung function. Psychologically, it can cultivate students the spirit of hard-working, team spiritand the sense of competition. It also offers students the exercise in physical and psychologicalgrowth, so that they become more responsive to changes of social change. |
