The Current Situation Investigation And Study Of Gelao Traditional Sports Culture In Guizhou

The national traditional sports culture, which reflects the national spirit, means the cultural activities with the typical national identity. They were formed in the national survival、 development process with continuous creation、 heritage and enrichment by various nationalities in different historical period of development in China. As minority nationalities with small population in our country, Gelao mainly lived in more than20counties such as Wuchuan、 Daozheng、 Shiqian、 Zunyi、 Renhuai、 Liuzhi、 Guanling、 Anshun and so on in Guizhou Province, which has about559000populations, accounting for96.49%of the total Gelao. Gelao is one of the seventeen minority nationalities in Guizhou with rich and fascinating traditional sports culture. These traditional sports include Playing strip egg (show bamboo ball), Dance on the tower like lion, Cattle driven cattle, Fireworks, Damoqiu, Dazailong, Caitangwu, Niujingwu, Bengbeng drum, Dangba, Jump into the sea, Bench boxing, Kicki shuttlecock, Play chicken ball and so on.These traditional sports embodies an old and mysterious national spirit of the Gelao people. Impacted by the modern waves, making full use of nationality culture resources in Gelao inhabited area, developingand refining Gelao nationality traditional sports cultural characteristic in Guizhou, heritaging traditional sports culture in Gelao areas, enriching the Gelao people’s cultural life and improving the national quality, is of great significance to promote the harmonious development in Guizhou ethnic areas.This paper based on the the predecessor thought, according to the theory of social transformation, cultural change theory and the theory of harmonious society, using the method of questionnaire investigation、 field survey method and literature method, taking several typical case,for example,Daozhen、 Wuchuan and Pingzheng as the research objects, investigating the current situation of Gelao traditional sports cultural, and putting forward the recessive factors and dominant factors of influencing Gelao traditional sports.Recessive factors include geographical environment religious beliefs and ethnic identity; Dominant factors include a lagging economy, the lack of government policy favoring and the publicity, the lack of sports departments organizations and school physical education combined with insufficient, the scarcity of professional talents, the huge impact which social progress and the change of production bring on Gelao traditional sports, etc. With the advance of modernization and urbanization, the development of the Gelao traditional sports culture is facing more and more impact and challenges, for this, we put forward the following countermeasures and suggestions:Firstly, We should insist on the principle of liberating thought and seeking truth in the process of developing Gelao traditional sports culture, coordinating the development of traditional national sports culture with the scientific development conception, adhering to the combining the road on inheritance, innovation and development. Secondly, increasing the power of policy favorative, strengthen the the development ability of sports sector, building a multi-channel funding financing system, play an enabling role on government departments. Thirdly, strengthen theoretical research of Gelao traditional sports culture, publicity and promoting the Gelao nationality traditional sports culture. The fourth is combining Gelao nationality traditional sports culture and school sports curriculum closely, making it teach by standardization, fitness by popularization and life. The fifth is making traditional sports culture industrialized through combining traditional sports culture and tourism together. The last is is the combination of new rural construction and traditional sports culture to to walk the road of leisure sports and entertainment sports, promoting the Gelao inhabit regionthe harmonious development of economic and society.
