The Academic Degree System In Knowledge Society

The human society is in the transformation of industrial society to knowledge society. In the upcoming knowledge society, all sectors of society will be a dramatic change, economic, technological, and cultural aspects will be showing a new look. Innovation will be the driving force for development of a knowledge society, and knowledge innovation is the core of society. Degree system will also be experiencing an unprecedented innovation in the background of the knowledge society. With the development of Higher Education from popularity stage towards the popularization stage, people are increasingly concerned about the role of a degree, especially "the degree devaluation "of today has been the focus of discussion. In the new social background, what will the degree be happen and how to build and improve the degree system, are becoming issues of concern. In this study, we combined with the knowledge society advent of the historical background, by analyzing the factors that affect the degree of institutional change in the knowledge society, and then sum up the future development trend of the degree system.In knowledge society, the importance of the degree goes without saying and the change of the degree system is the requirement of the times. Therefore, in the new era, to carry out the degree system research is particularly necessary. In this study, around this research theme of "the degree system in the knowledge society vision", in accordance with the challenges faced by the degree system-factor analysis-change trend on this line of thought. Firstly, proposed the degree system facing challenges in the knowledge society, then focuses on the current status and problems of the degree system and on the relationship of the upcoming knowledge society and the degree system change. Then from the three major aspects to analyze the factors affecting the degree system changes in the knowledge society:knowledge economy, IT and social transformation. Finally, the article on the basis of summing up change factors of the knowledge society then summed up the future development trend of the degree system. The paper integrated the status of the current degree system and its own law of development and external factors, summed up the three directions of the future development of the degree system:degree the nature of diversification, degree standards of transparency and the degree of mutual recognition of globalization.
