Physics and Mathematics are in close contact and influence each other, but at the stage of basic education in China, has long been the subject teaching human fragmented between Physics and Mathematics, not conducive to the comprehensive ability the student physical mastery of knowledge and interdisciplinary. Therefore, this study is based on mathematics and physics, close contact, and the new concept of China’s basic education curriculum reform in junior secondary physics teaching, to carry out the study of how to promote students to use mathematical knowledge to solve physical problems.This thesis studies from the following aspects:First, the author in the theoretical aspects, from various angles to explore students’mathematical knowledge to solve physical existing problems. Then I select the Changde City junior high school teachers and students as the research sample, from various aspects to investigate, taking spss software to make statistics, analysis results, investigate and understand mathematical knowledge needed junior high school physical learning, students apply mathematical knowledge to solve physical problems, difficulties, and the convergence of the mathematical aspects of teachers teaching situation. Finally, the author on this basis, the author on the problems of teaching practice and teaching practice reflect.The basic conclusions of the study are:First, the junior high school physical learning requires the use of the wealth of mathematical knowledge; junior high school students in the use of mathematical knowledge to solve physical problems, there are many difficulties; teachers have realized the importance of an integrated mathematical concept, but there are methods and other issues in the teaching operation. Second, to guide students to a correct understanding of the relationship between mathematics and physics; emphasis on students’ basic knowledge of mathematics in daily physical education; using a variety of methods to improve student mathematical ability, students flexible application of mathematical knowledge to solve physical problems helpful.
