With the development of society and fast pace of life, the professional women suffercontinuous decline of health caused by pressure in every aspect. This thesis made a periodicaltesting and analysis of the body composition of the professional women who have done a16-week continuous aerobic exercise by the means of survey, experiment, statistics. Theconclusions come as the followings:After four cycles of aerobic exercise, the subjects’ weight mean, fat mean and lean bodymass mean all decreased obviously after the experiments and the differences are significant.The result shows that aerobics can play an significant role in weight loss and reduction of fatfor the professional women.After four cycles of aerobics exercise, the muscle mass of the subjects increasedobviously. The lean body mass index goes up and the differences are significant. This resultshows that aerobics can effectively promote the sports capacity of professional women.After four cycles of aerobics exercise, the water and protein in subjects’ body firstdeclined and then stabilized, but two showed different discrepancy before and after theexperiments. The protein mass decreased clearly while the water mass showed little differenceafter the experiments compared with that before the experiments. This result shows thatlong-time aerobic exercise is a great challenge for the professional women who have nevertaken such kind of exercise before and timely water and energy supply is needed.After four cycles of aerobics exercise, the waist-hip ratio and body mass index declinedclearly and the difference is significant. It shows that aerobics has obvious effects on weightloss, reduction of fat mass of the key parts of the body and increase of lean body mass meanfor professional women and can help to achieve the object of losing weight.After four cycles of aerobics exercise, the mean of basal metabolic rate of the subjectsgoes up obviously and the difference is significant compared with that before the experiments.Again it shows that aerobics can reduce the fat mass of the professional women, increasemuscle mass and the proportion of lean body mass.In accordance with the testing and the analysis, the following proposals are put forward:Since aerobics has significant effects on weight loss, reduction of fat mass, increase ofmuscle mass and lean body mass index, it is suggested that more professional women doaerobics to keep fit and lose weight. The experiments show that at the beginning period of taking aerobic exercise,underestimation of intensity and quantity of exercise can cause great loss of water, mineralsand protein in body. However, people tend to replenish water without replenishing mineralsand protein timely, which will do harm to health. It is suggested that when taking aerobicsexercise, people should take some sports drinks which are rich in trace elements, and takeproper diet after aerobic exercise to get timely compensation for the nutrients which are lostduring the exercise.Aerobics has significant effects on increase of basal metabolic rate and sports capacity.Nevertheless, it requires a long cycle and continuous and regular exercise. Besides, aftergetting used to the intensity of aerobics, proper increase of strength training of certain parts ofthe body will help the body-shape building.
