The Socialist Core Value System Lead "after90"College Students’ Ideological And Political Education

The decision regarding major issues on the building of a harmonious socialist society", put forward in the sixth plenary of the16th CPC Central Committee, clearly points out the basic content and methods with regard to the construction of Socialist Core Value System. This is of great significance for the’post-90s’college students’ ideological and political education.The Socialist Core Value System takes the Marx doctrine as its soul, the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics as its theme, patriotism-centered national spirit and reform-and-innovation-centered times spirit as its essence, and socialist concept of honor and dishonor as its foundation.At present, in the economic globalization and political pluralism world pattern,"post-90s" college students show a series of ideological characteristics: they have strong sense of participation, high recognition, diversified concepts when facing political issues; they have strong sense of independence but weak collective spirit; they have innovative consciousness and pursuit fairness, justice, democracy competition environment. The Socialist Core Value System that has strong ideological education function is closely related to "post-90s" college students’ ideological and political education. To meet the challenge and the objective requirement of its own development,"post-90s" college students’ ideological and political education must take the socialist core value system as its guidance.To guide "post-90s" college students’ ideological and political education with the Socialist Core Value System, we should insist on the guidance of Marxism, analyze the challenges and problems of present ideological education, enrich the education content, improve the educators’quality, carry out the ideological and political education in the unconscious form, carry forward the socialist common ideal with Chinese characteristics, focus on the era features of "post-90s" college students’ ideological and political education, combine it with national and times spirit from the point of view of macro consideration, raise "post-90s" students’ high spirit, help them establish the socialist concept of honor and dishonor, highlight "post-90s" students’morality.
