The Evaluation Research On The Effect Of Social Security Level Over The Resident Quality Of Life

As the development of China’s economy and society and the improvement of people’sliving standards, people concern increasingly on quality of life. Social security is theimportant means to meet the resident basic living needs. The level of social security has adirect impact on the resident quality of life.This thesis is based on the impact and evaluation studies on the social security level tothe resident quality of life, and on much literature information. It uses the methodincluding qualitative and quantitative research. It use SPSS statistical software and EXCELsoftware for factor analysis, regression analysis and cluster analysis. Specific studies are asfollows:Firstly, the thesis has a brief overview and analysis on the social security level and thequality of life. It elaborates the concept and the development of resident quality of life. Itconducts a comprehensive evaluation of home and abroad quality of life. At the meanwhile,It analyzes the status of China’s social security level, and compare with the foreign socialsecurity level.Secondly, the thesis researches the impact on social security level to resident qualityof life. Based on the qualitative analysis of the social security level and quality of life, Itselected12indicators to build the social security level indicator system. Collecting31districts relevant data and evaluating the social security level using factor analysis of SPSS.12indicators re-formed4principal factors. And then have social security level factorscores of31districts. According to the principle of index system and reference to previousstudies, the thesis builds quality of life indicators system without social security level.Which include21indicators in category6. Quality of lifescores is an explanatory variable and social security is an explained variable, the impact onthe social security level to resident quality of life is studied using factor analysis of SPSS.The result is0.385. To further analyze the impact on the social security level to residentquality of life, the impact on the key indicators of social security level to resident quality oflife is analyzed. The result is that the impact on social insurance coverage factor to qualityof life is0.322, social security development factor to quality of life is-0.165. In all theindicators of social security, the three greatest impact indicators are work injury insurancecoverage, pension insurance coverage and unemployment insurance coverage: they are0.323,0.315and0.308.Thirdly, evaluate the quality of life with social security level of our country. Afteranalyzing the impact on the social security level to the quality of life, the quality of lifeindicator system with social security level was to be built. This indicator system contains6categories27indicators. To evaluate the social security level using factor analysis of SPSS.27indicators re-formed6principal factors. And then have quality of life factor scores of31districts. The top five districts are Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Andthen classify31regions using cluster analysis of SPSS.Finally, according to the results of the analysis proposed prospects to increase theresident quality of life.
