Study On Credit Crisis In Undergraduates And Countermeasures

As the moral standard, integrity includes two sides:honestness and keeping faith. Honestness refers to sincereness, truth and no cheats. It emphasizes the sincereness in thoughts. Keeping in faith refers to keep and practice one’s promises. It emphasizes the sincereness in actions. Integrity is not the traditional virtues of Chinese nation, but also a principle of dealing with the relationship between the individual and society. Society can develop healthily with integrity and unify of words and deeds.With the development of our country and market economy, our society entered into transformation period. Because of the changes of economy, politic and culture and the influences of pluralistic ideology and value orientation, the thinking mode, life style and views of people changed greatly. And credit crisis which has been the huge obstacle of social progress spread to every area of society. What’s more, credit crisis is eroding the contemporary undergraduates that makes them cheat in exams, homeworks, resumes, papers, loans, emotions and employments.Undergraduates who is the social group that has higher quality are major powers of socialist construction and bear the historical mission of boosting our country and nationalities. So their integrity has the close relationship with constructing the good socialist moral system, promoting the stable development of the country and harmonious development of the society. So we should realize the necessity and importance of credit problems in undergraduates, increase the publicity about integrity, put the credit education into the first place of moral education and build the thorough restricting and punishment mechanism to model their nice integrity quality. That is the way out of solving the credit problems among undergraduates.This paper firstly talks about basic concept of integrity and describes the Chinese and western integrity and analyze the integrity traits of Chinese undergraduates.Next, it proceeds with the credit crisis of contemporary undergraduates, describing the current situation of their credit crisis and analyzing the great values in the transformation period and reasons that cause the crisis.Then, the part starts with the western integrity, combining with the western contract spirits and describes western views of integrity and credit education for American undergraduates. The comparison of Chinese and western views of integrity is made after it.At last, combining the reasons analysis of credit crisis among undergraduates and enlightenments of American credit educations, the paper proposes some advices: first, strengthening the construction of integrity environment; second, enhancing the credit education for undergraduates; third, increasing the construction of integrity system and fourth, augmenting the integrity spontaneity of undergraduates.
