This article is a research on People’s Education Press of Chinese textbooks for seniormiddle school. This book is the most widely used materials in the secondary school languageteaching in China, but also an authoritative textbook version. Senior school textbooks incomments are very typical material of the word comments. It can enhance students’understanding of the texts and it is a good helper for students’ self-study. It can also reducethe burden of teachers in the teaching process, and secondary teachers teaching, therefore, tostudy it is necessary. The research object in this article is only the word comment of highschool Chinese books in the second edition of People’s Education Press in2007. Learningfrom the results of previous studies based on theories of lexical semantics, lexicography, andfrom the angle of interpretation, we analysis the type of the nature of its interpretation.Thenaccording to the interpretation mode, discuss the annotation point selection problem; analysisof the interpretation of the word meaning from the meaning point of view more in-depth andsystematic study of systems in order to explain the words of comment.
