The Lead Development Of Competitive Sports For The Disabled In Jiangsu Province And Scientific Development Research

China’s the Handicapped Competitive Sports has finally topped the world’s list, which has processed the period of being weak to strong. All these achievements have a close relation with the efforts from all provinces. Jiangsu Province started to pay attention to its competitive sports as early as in1990s and has developed fast with the supports from its prosperous economy development. All the developments, which are in Paralyzed Olympic Games or in or in Asian Para Games or in China Para games, prove that Jiangsu Province has taken the leading role over the whole country. It also makes a good contribution to the implementation of the policy of the two taking the leads in Jiangsu Province. However, the present development of Handicapped Competitive Sports of Jiangsu Province is facing up with many problems and unprecedented challenges, which will definitely affect its sustainable development. This thesis aims at discovering the development advantages of Jiangsu Province and preparing how to face up with the coming challenges.This thesis summarized the achievements through twenty-odd years by means of researching literary materials, field research method and questionnaire research method. We can find out the experience by analyzing the achievements and existing problems for the purpose of putting forward useful ideas and suggestions, which can guide the pioneering development of the Handicapped Competitive Sports of Jiangsu Province, with the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development. The conclusions are as follows:(1) We can clearly see that Jiangsu Province has taken the leading role after twenty-odd year’s development on the Handicapped Competitive Sports by comparing with other provinces while in Paralyzed Olympic Games and in Asian Para Games and in China Para games;(2) The experience on successful development on the Handicapped Competitive Sports of Jiangsu Province:①The polices made by the Government provide guarantees to the development on the Handicapped Competitive Sports of Jiangsu Province, especially the capital supports from the Provincial Government grant the training and competition to go on smoothly;②abundant human resources, including excellent coaches and athletes;③mastering the regular pattern helps to know how to succeed in the paralyzed competitive sports;④sound guarantee system;⑤good managerial system.(3) The problems existing in the development process of the Handicapped Competitive Sports of Jiangsu Province:①The public pay low attention to the Handicapped Competitive Sports;②Different sports programs develop unequally;③The amount of trainers is of shortage and their age structure is unreasonable;④The coaches are lacking of professional training;⑤The managerial system isn’t good enough;⑥The procedure of selecting athletes isn’t scientific enough.(4) Taking measures upon the development of the Handicapped Competitive Sports of Jiangsu Province with the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development:①To schedule out a reasonable plan on developing the Handicapped Competitive Sports of Jiangsu Province;②To strengthen the management on programs and sustain the outstanding programs and improve the weak programs;③To enforce the cultivation on talents④To construct the scientific training system;⑤To perfect the incentive system.
