In the year2001, a new round basic education curriculum reform starts. In the newreform, the construction of the new high school curriculum system is one of theimportant contents of its curriculum core idea is that you want to students as afundamental basis for development of the student’s personality, cultivate students’ interestand enhance their social adaptability. The new curriculum, however, show the process ofbuilding many unsuitable, mainly a number of contradictions in courses culture,education, culture, school management culture, in the final analysis is a contradictionwith the school culture. Therefore, in order to reform the success of China’s new highschool curriculum, from construction to implementation and school culture must becombined. This article is from this new perspective reveals cultural adaptability problemsof China’s current high school curriculum system, as well as how to build new highschools’ curriculum system which full of cultural characteristics.My research starts from the school culture and the new high school curriculumsystem, proven unified school culture and the new high school curriculum, conflict andsymbiotic relationship, culture is missing in the construction of a new high schoolcurriculum, pointed out Its understanding of school culture not accurate andcomprehensive the specialty curriculum development is weak, poor implementation ofthe comprehensive curricula for a range of issues.I selected Huanggang Middle School, Beijing RDFZ,Wales High School in LosAngeles, New York and Charleston School such as several domestic and foreign construction of the new curriculum outstanding high school case studies, they combinethe successful experience of the school culture courses proposed new high schoolcurriculum system to start the construction of cultural sight from the curriculum andpractical courses, specialty courses and hidden curriculum, as well as to improve the newcurriculum system required for principals’, teachers and students’, communities’ support.Finally, conclude the trends of the entire construction of the new high school curriculumsystem.
