Research On Social Work Intervention And The Living Situation Of The Old-age Empty-nesters Who Live In The Unitary Community

With the aging of population trend in China aggravating, the social issue of empty nester is becoming more and more prominent, and was concerned by the whole society. So the protection of this special group, mitigation of the life pressure of the empty-nesters, the implementation of real security and joint for the elderly, has very important significance for the construction of the harmonious society.Through the questionnaire data I collected, combined with the casework and community work practice in H community, the paper analyzes the necessity and possibility of social work involved in the group of empty-nesters, and then discusses the difficulties and problems of the existence in the intervention process and proposes some countermeasures. Thus it can make the public pay attention to the group of empty-nesters,promote the culture of filial piety, make empty nesters enjoy the welfare of the care should have, improve quality and satisfaction of the elderly life. And through this, I want to make empty-nesters groups and the general public understand the advantages of social work and accept social workers, then provide a good space for social workers to involve in this group.The paper, based on the existing research results, with sociology and social work theory as guidance, then according to the empty nester of the practice in H community as investigation object, using the method of questionnaire and depth interview, and using methods of case and community social work of in-depth field research for the data collection. The article inserts the casework case, and through case description to illustrate the role played by the social work service of the empty-nesters.This paper analyzes the difficulties of the social workers encountered when they involve in the service of the empty-nesters, including the poorly understood of the elderly for social workers in the course of their work, difficulties to carry out community work, difficult integration of resources, and lack of social workers in their own quality and supervision efforts. For these deficiencies, through government support, social advocacy, the self-development of social work profession, and etc. The paper proposes some recommendations and countermeasures about social work intervention in empty nesters service. In the article writing process, I found the phenomenon of empty nesters growing number has some relationship with the current culture of filial piety loss, at the same time, our country existing medical insurance business has malpractice, it cannot let residents enjoy medical insurance benefits maximally.I hope this paper can make the government and the public understand the social work force, and lay the foundation for social service work in the future.
