Measurement And Countermeasures Of China’s Township Statistics Construction

The township statistics is an important part of national statistical system and thesource of government statistics. Township Statistics is also an important basis forunderstanding of national conditions, social conditions, the people, policy andplanning, monitoring and guiding the economic operation. Unless based on thestatistic data of social economic, it’s very difficult to study all walks of life andlivelihood issues, economic and social development, coordinating urban-ruraldevelopment. However, according to facts, the township statistics is still the weakestlink of the government statistical system, and failed to bring it into play. At present,due to the lack of comprehensive data, studies about the domestic constructioncondition of the township statistics system is less than others countries. Part of thestudies are limited to a brief analysis of the township statistics about one city, or thestatistical system theoretical studies are limited, simple, and the conclusion is notuniversal. This paper integrates all kinds of information about the situation oftownship statistics. Taking data of the township statistics which10itemes of36areasreflect as the starting point. Using of multivariate statistical analysis tool, throughdifferent analysis of township statistics and correlation analysis of economicdevelopment, grasping the present state of China’s township statistics, and making areasonable guess which based on the level of the building of township statistics, andgiving a suggestion.
