Dragon is the symbol of our nation, the lion was known as auspicious, both of whichwere thought to have any effect, safe good luck and happiness to you. Dragon and lion danceis a set of fitness, entertainment, art, and culture has a long history of excellent traditionalChinese sports. In the primary school development of dragon and lion dance, can not onlyinherit the national culture, but also can make the dragon and lion dance culture brand; inaddition, the dragon lion sports can also enrich the campus cultural life, improve students’ ofethnic cultural learning, can also carry on to the student ideological education, cultivatingtheir solidarity, collective spirit. Therefore, dragon and lion dance is to promote thecomprehensive development of talent, inheritance of ethnic culture, carrying forward thenational spirit. In this paper, through the literature material law, questionnaire survey, expertinterview, mathematical statistics method, the Guangdong Province Primary School Dragonand lion dance movement present situation has carried on a more comprehensive investigationand study, the results showed the faculty, facilities, financial constraints and other factors, ledto the dragon and lion dance in primary school the development sports level high content ofinnovative training, many serious problems.
