The Development And Application Of Military College Students’ Ideal Questionnaire

Ideal is one’s imagination, pursue and goals, which is about their future andrelates with the actual development rules and has realizes the possible. Militarycollege students are the new high-quality military personnel in the future. Due tothe particularity of learning environment, the contents of training, management andother aspects, coupled with the growing social information influx of militarycollege,their ideal position presents the new features and has more and moreattention.Therefore, developing a ideal questionnaire for Chinese military collegestudents and learning the present situation and related factors of the military collegestudents’ ideal have great theoretical and practical significance, which not only forthe military college students’ mental health but also for the construction of the corevalues system of contemporary revolutionary soldiers.This research carried on actually measuring to1617military college studentsfrom9colleges all over the military in the way of cluster random sampling.Analytical results showed as follows：1、The ideal questionnaire of the military college students self-designed iscomposed of22items, which has high reliability and validity. The questionnairesatisfies criteria of mental surveying, and thus it can be used as the tool to ideal andassess the military college students’ ideal.2、Through the analysis of factors of the military college students’ ideal getssix factors: study ideal, life ideal, vocation ideal, political ideal, ego ideal andmilitary ideal.3、At present, the ideal of the military college students lies in above theaverage level and the total condition is good. The six dimensions of ideal scoresfrom low to high are as follows: military ideal, ego ideal, study ideal, political ideal,life ideal and vocation ideal.4、The ideal of the military college students has significant differences inmilitary service, education stage, student nature, political affiliation, gender,student origin and whether the only child in overall level and every dimension.
