The Survey And Research On Safety Of Six-Seven Years Old Children Online:Taking The Students From Yabao School Attached To Sun Yat-Sen University As An Example

This study has been presented in the context based on the following: children online is a double blade sword. On one hand, it creates happiness and more educational opportunities for children. On the other hand, it brings harms to children without any protection. Recently, the cases have occurred frequently because of careless online behavior. The issue of children online safety has caught much attention from all social sectors.Based on the survey of current online situation of the first and second grade students from Yabao School Attached to Sun Yat-Sen University, this paper shows unsafe factors resulting from children online, analyzes the causes of problems of children online safety and puts forward some educational strategies.This paper employs the literature research method, individual interview method and questionnaire survey method. This paper, through questionnaire survey, studies the current situation of children online safety and problems of education of online safety.The paper’s conclusions are:Network itself has some unsafe factors including viruses, hackers, pornography and violence. Six-and-seven-year-old children get hurt by websites very easily in the beginning because they lack self-protection awareness and distinguishing ability. In addition, schools and parents’education on children online safety lags and has some problems.In the end, the paper puts forward the educational strategies. Schools should strengthen publicity and teachers should guide student in positive way. Parents should provide necessary guidance and proper controlling. Society should clear network environments to ensure the safety of children online.
