Professional development of teachers is the key to the success ofschool development and education reform, and explore effective teacherprofessional development model is a hot area of current educationalresearch.This study will examine the Lesson study is able to provideteachers with a teaching professional development opportunities; andlesson study in specific areas to promote the professional development ofteachers. The articles were reviewed existing research to the "LessonStudy" on the basis of the theoretical basis of the "Lesson Study" and"Lesson Study" concept to define, distinguish between related concepts,pointed out that the main influencing factors in "Lesson Study". Throughthe practice of "lesson study", using the method of case analysis, andquestionnaires and interviews in the form of a concrete analysis of thelesson study in which to promote the professional development ofteachers, to summarize the role of "lesson study" teachers’ professionaldevelopment and made recommendations on the development of lessonstudy. The results show that the lesson study have a significant role inpromoting the professional development of teachers, is an effectiveteacher professional development pathway; and promote the professionaldevelopment of teachers in the three aspects of research capacity, theknowledge of teachers, educational philosophy.
