Since reform and opening-up, China’s economic construction has made great achievement that amazes the whole world. Economic development’s need for personnel has been increasing with each passing day. Middle school students are the future successors of our country, during their middle school period, the society and school should cultivate their "economic sense". By this means, middle school students can develop better during their working and living, so as to make due construction to the motherland.The author has made in-depth researches in middle schools, read related materials of various kinds, and communicated with different teachers. On this basis, the author has written this thesis, which can be divided into four aspects.First, this thesis elaborates the theme on nurturing the economic sense of middle school students in their history classes. So what is "economic sense" and what is "historical sense"? What is the relation between the two aspects? The first chapter of this thesis puts emphasis on these three issues.First, this thesis elaborates the theme on nurturing the economic sense of middle school students in their history classes. Since the new curriculum reform, scholars in our country have, from various aspects, attempted to construct the framework of cultivating the economic sense of middle school students. The author discusses this issue from four facets:the essence of the new curriculum reform, the textbook writing, the teaching method reform and self-improvement of middle school teachers’quality. On this basis, a system is initially completed.Four, in chapter four, the author briefly summarizes the importance of cultivating the economic sense of middle school students. The author discusses the great meaning of a scientific economic view for students’development and national development. Cultivating the economic sense of students is of great significance for the future national development, which is the starting point for the author to write this thesis.
