Essay On Shaping Undergraduates’ Healthy Personality In University Ideological And Political Education

Exploring how to shape undergraduates’healthy personality in university ideological and political education has theoretical and practical significance, helps rethink the limitations of traditional ideological and political education, update the concept of ideological and political education, strengthen the actual effect of university ideological and political education and promote young college students to become useful persons. This thesis attempts to make a study on how to shape undergraduates’healthy personality in university ideological and political education.Firstly, in this thesis, personality and healthy personality are defined from a multidisciplinary perspective, the three essential elements of healthy personality and the dialectical relations among them are analyzed:psychological personality is the foundation; legal personality is the safeguard; and moral personality is the highlight. We should conduct ideological and political education to undergraduates through integrated and various considerations to achieve coordinated development among psychological personality, legal personality and moral personality for the purpose of shaping healthy personality.Secondly, in this thesis, the necessity and feasibility of shaping undergraduates’ healthy personality in university ideological and political education are discussed. The necessity is described theoretically. Healthy personality helps achieve the basic goal of university ideological and political education—that is to cultivate comprehensively developed and social development-oriented excellent undergraduates. Meanwhile, healthy personality is required by the development of university ideological and political education. The practical feasibility of shaping undergraduates’healthy personality in university ideological and political education is analyzed practically. This thesis starts from whether the undergraduates’ personality characteristics are helpful for shaping their healthy personality in the new period, combines the five aspects of undergraduates, educators, educational environment, educational content and educational method to analyze why university ideological and political education is stunted in terms of undergraduates’ psychological personality, legal personality and moral personality, so as to clarify the direction and make a targeted "solution".Finally, this thesis discusses the goals, principles and methods of shaping undergraduates’healthy personality in university ideological and political education. In this part, the goals of primary level, intermediate level and high level in shaping undergraduates’healthy personality in university ideological and political education are determined based on the previous study; the principles of people first and coordinated development among psychological personality, legal personality and moral personality followed in shaping undergraduates’healthy personality in university ideological and political education are presented; and the methods of shaping undergraduates’healthy personality in university ideological and political education are explored intensively.
