Study Purpose:American basketball always lead world basketball development over the past hundred years, it is closely linked with its distinctive style, booming thoughts atmosphere and some representative elites’appearance. It has been reported on the net that NCAA basketball fully exceed NBA in the aspects of game brand value, fans coverage and social influence. The root of American basketball’s form lies in NCAA basketball. Nowadays, large quantities of American basketball theories’translated works replace the discussion of its regular pattern and principle with variable means and methods. Even though theory only plays role in explaining things and phenomena logical and extensive, the training which lacks concept cognition will simply copy forms and fail to grasp the main points or follow the beaten track and hesitate to move forward. The author studies eleven elite NCAA basketball coaches’training concept, tries to achieve the purpose of cultivating coach’s wisdom, discovering sport event’s regular pattern, confirming thought’s value.Study Object:Based on the recommendation of NABC Drill Book Vol.1and the criteria of sporting experiences, coaching qualifications and NCAA Basketball win percentage, selecting eleven championship coaches as the representatives of NCAA basketball coaches group.Study Method:Literature review:Consulting fifteen books on relevant coaches’ biography, coaching and training experience summary and NCAA basketball game background; Searching ten papers from American sport science’s core journals which observe, record, analyze, appraise some coaches’training sessions and professional time-sensitive newspapers and magazines which record some coaches and players’training and competition interviews; Retrieving fourteen web pages from network which provides these coaches’resume and basketball training philosophy. Video observation:Observing ten coaches’training videos’expression and behavioral pattern from their training contents, organizational forms, methods and features. Logic analysis:Summing up above materials, generalizing the ways of rational reflection and practical testing; Comparing the similarities and differences of each coach’s training concept, discussing training concept’s forming bases and causes; Deducing arguments and making judgments while observing the videos.Study Result:(1) Concept is the mankind’s fragmented rational knowledge which is personalized, distinct, novel and practical towards the formation of some object or the process of phenomenal occurrence:Athletic training is the education management process which focuses on strengthening body’s adaption to overload stimuli and aims to participate the game successfully. It pays attention to athletes’physical power, technique and tactic training; Training concept’s based on training subject’s integration of theory and practice, it is training subject’s fragmented rational knowledge which is personalized, distinct, novel and practical towards the contest, rethinking of training processes and results’perceptual knowledge.(2) NCAA basketball coaches’training concept refines from the combination of their profound professional knowledge with years of coaching experience. It attaches importance to discipline, verbal instructions and model demonstrations during the course of education which is based on student athletes’long-term development; In process of management, it lays emphasis on assembling team spirit by unification of goals, advocating cooperation, regulation and control; Fitness training stresses on high intensity training aided by core content, so as to accomplishing body morphology’s reorganization and function improvement; Technical training emphasizes the organic integration of basic skill and specific skill, concentrates effort on training key skill and perfecting movement details, then pursuing the thorough apprehension of technique application on condition that meticulous training; Tactical training stresses on taking the initiative by quickness and move, the organic integration of tactic and technique, tactical details in preset competition scene and pursuing execution capability and actual result of each tactic application.(3) It possesses the features of respecting regular pattern of sport event, forming their own styles, unveiling training essence, grasping operation and so on.Study Conclusion:Training concept is the result of conceptual work, it reflects coaches’overall understanding of training process and perspective to each training part and element; As fragmented rational knowledge, NCAA basketball coaches’training concept can be found in works and discussions, also truly reflects in the training process. The whole ideological system can be seen by comprehensive survey. Any concept can’t form without the society and culture influence, learning others’idea and method needs reform and innovation. |
