| This study investigates the development status of sports tourism resources in Changbai Mountain, and it is based on the analysis to put forward the development countermeasure. It is also provide the reference for the sports tourism resources in Changbai Mountain project management center making policy and basis of theory and practice for the development of sports tourism resources in western and southern slope of Changbai Mountain,This research is based on methods of literature review, on-the-spot investigation, expert interviews, and so on to conduct investigation and analysis for the development status of sports tourism resources in Changbai Mountain. The following conclusion is:1. According to the geographic environment of Changbai Mountain, Changbai Mountain is one of ten famous mountains in China. It is located between An Tu and Bai Shan in Ji Lin province, and it is also the border mountain between China and the North Korea. The development of sports tourism resources in Changbai Mountain is earlier, and it is conform to the Changbai Mountain tourist development. Using the Changbai Mountain favorable terrain and climatic conditions, ice training base and alpine skiing was built in50s. Moreover, to be related sports tourism resources, such as mountain climbing, adventure, hiking sports development and river rafting and other sports tourism development are essential.2. The distribution area of the Changbai Mountain area of sports tourism resources is distributed by the Changbai Mountain scenic area and the surrounding area resources. The Distribution characteristics is mainly analysed by the public, professional, stimulating, nationality sports tourism resources. In recent years, the west slope of Changbai Mountain area sports tourism resources is more attractive. Although the development is less than perfect, it is still in the original rough expansion state, but rich in tourism resources. With the economic, cultural and raise the level of tourism activity has also developed rapidly, and gradually become the new development trend of the times. More and more tourists favorite as tourism, fitness, entertainment, leisure and other activities into one of sports tourism. In short, the western and southern slope of sports tourism resources in Changbai Mountain area has great development potential and prospects. 3.
