The Ideological And Moral Quality Problems Of Independent College Students Majoring In Physical Education And Solution To Them

Since1990s, with the implementation of the reform and opening-up and the rapid development of national economy, most public universities have maximized their resources in schooling, of which some are even beyond their capabilities. Under such circumstances, independent colleges emerged, with brand new school-running modes, which not only promoted the reforming of teaching-modes, but also catered to the demands for students who want to receive a high level, high-quality education.As one of the most active groups in independent colleges, the sports professional students are the hope and future of Chinese sports. Moreover, the ideological and ethical standards of them will influence Chinese RE. education, affect the all-round, coordinated and sustainable development of Chinese sports and impact the strategic policies of rejuvenating Chinese sports through science and education as well as reinvigorating Chinese sports through human resource development. Consequently, it is of great significance to develop Chinese sports and education by improving the ideological and ethical quality of sports professional students. As a teacher of an independent college, I fully recognized the shock to the ideological and ethical standards of students given by cultural diversity, especially for those who are performing relatively poor in grades and bad in self-control. After the researching of independent colleges, including the establishment reasons and management system of independent colleges, and analyzing of the ideological and ethic standards of university students, we used questionnaires among sports professional students in Shuda College of Hunan Normal University, to do a survey and analyze their moral education from the aspects of political caliber, psychological diathesis, professional qualities, legal awareness and moral quality under guidelines of the Principles of Marxism and Positivism. Through the research, we found that their ideals and ethics are positive, but they still lack of psychological stabilities, legal knowledge and are fond of utilitarianism and individualism.Considering the present problems, this essay will deal with the school-running system, the primal reason, by treating the basic moral education as primary task and the specific sports ideological and moral standards as carrier, putting forward an innovate-oriented schooling system, constructing socialism core value system and focusing on enriching campus life and building the Party so as to improve the ideological and ethical standards of sports professional students in independent colleges both in conception and essence.
