Under the Internet culture environment, the ideological and political education in colleges and universities has encountered unprecedented challenges and golden opportunities. This paper based on the theoretical knowledge of Internet culture, analysed the relationship between Internet culture with ideological and political education. The emergence and development of the Internet culture bring a full range of profound impact on ideological and political education. Meanwhile, ideological and political education offered scientific thoughts and guidance to the Internet culture. There are two points of interaction between Internet culture and ideological and political education. The first, Internet culture restraints the ideological and political education. Internet culture requirs ideological and political education to develop student’s awareness and interpretation ability of Internet culture, to create a healthy culture surroundings. The second, the ideological and political education has necessary to participate in building Internet culture:train eligible worker, carry out on-line activities and construct healthy environment. As the two points closely related, it is practicable to use Internet promoting the ideological and political education job to do better. The article also illustrates the significant impact of Internet culture on the ideological and political education in colleges and universities:the limited education space and time becomes unlimited, educational resources doubles, education gets new ways to develop. Meanwhile, modern science and technology promotes the effectiveness of education, enriches the contents of education, and provided a brand new and modernized education method. However, in the network cultural context, the ideological and political education in colleges and universities is also facing various difficulties. In face of the competition between domestic and international public opinions in the era of internet culture, the former simple means adopted in ideological and political education are not able to meet the needs of the development of globalization any longer. Thus, an innovation of means in Ideological and Political education is badly in need. In order to realize the value of a theory, a theory should guide practice and also be implemented in the final work in practice. As a social practical activity, the ultimate aim of ideological and political education is to achieve good educational results. This paper presents innovative theories of ideological and political education from three aspects:working methods, teaching jobs and platform construction in network cultural environment. When it comes to innovation of working methods, it includes three aspects:the main method of network education, the combination of network opinion guidance with monitoring, the combination of network means and traditional ways; In the innovation of teaching job,s the following four aspects should be included:teaching methods, teaching materials, teaching contents and teaching courses. As far as platform construction is concerned, it is necessary to constantly update means of platform service and innovative interactive platforms and BBS systems. Through summarizing the practical innovation theory of the above three aspects, this paper aims to be helpful to the actual work of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities.In a word, in the network cultural environment, there are more opportunities than challenges for ideological and political education. Innovation of practical theory with a scientific attitude will definitely lead to a better development of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
